Preserving Black History at the U

Each year during the month of February, the U recognizes Black History Month, an annual celebration honoring achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. And to help preserve that legacy, the U’s J. Willard Marriott Library maintains Black history databases, archives of historically Black newspapers, and oral histories of Black Utahns.
