Since its accreditation in 2012, the U’s School of Dentistry has grown into one of the nation’s most unique dental programs. Students receive substantial clinic experience and treat many underserved groups, including low-income families, those experiencing homelessness, refugees, rural residents, and others. And the school boasts the largest clinical network of any dental school in the country, with locations across the state.
“We are proud to celebrate a decade of providing exceptional education to our students and exceptional care to our communities,” says Dean Wyatt Rory Hume. Here’s a look at the School of Dentistry’s nearly 10 years of serving Utah.
